Welcome to “Petals by Heidi”. Flowers are a beauty of nature created by God. My interest in flowers began at an early age and a hobby that I love quickly grew into a part time business in 1997.

I had been working full time at a corporate job until three years ago when my life drastically and wonderfully changed. My husband and I were given the opportunity to adopt a beautiful baby girl, Amelia. (Please see “About Amelia” for full story.) I left my job to take care of her and she has been my inspiration to make “Petals by Heidi” my full time business.

Amelia and I grow, press and dry most of our flowers, while others are from the gardens of family and friends. We custom make each item by hand. Much care and time is taken to create a unique design while capturing individuality in each item. Thank you for visiting “Petals by Heidi”.
